Artist Bio

I am an Australian artist based in Meanjin (Brisbane), specialising in realism primarily using with the use of graphite. Recently, I have embarked on an exploration of various other mediums, including acrylic paint, ink, charcoal, pastel, and most recently, oil paint. This experimentation allows me to expand my artistic abilities and create personalised artworks that resonate with others.

Each piece I create is a testament to my dedication, as I slowly construct unique and realistic compositions. Rather than relying on one reference picture, I draw inspiration from a series of images and create a collage that exists within my mind, which I then bring to life with great attention to detail and care.

For me, these artworks are more than mere aesthetically pleasing pictures. They serve as representations of my perception of the world and the conflicts that often remain hidden within. It is through my art that I find a voice to express and explore these emotions, offering viewers a glimpse into my personal journey.

House Conspiracy Solo Exhibition

I was taking part in a six-week artist residency at House Conspiracy, West End, and had my first solo exhibition on the 15th of July, 2023.
